Every year, "Ms. Holle" dives the Zillertal into a wonderful winter mountain landscape, as you know from vacation postcards. And the best part of it all: at the same time, snow means "getting up on the boards" and enjoying the freedom of this sport on the perfectly groomed ski slopes.

In the Zillertal, 530 kilometers of perfectly prepared pistes and 180 lifts await you in 4 large-scale ski areas (Hochzillertal-Hochfügen-Spieljoch, Zillertal Arena, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen, Ski-Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000).

For this great ski pass you only need the Zillertal Superskipass.

To start skiing right away, we are happy to organize ski passes for you. You will then receive your ticket at check-in.

Off the Slopes

Whether sledding in the winter paradise, cross-country skiing on the numerous trails in the area or a delightful snowshoe / winter hike through the beautiful nature - here is certainly the right thing for every taste!

free Shuttle Service

Our free Shuttle Service will take you every 10 minutes in the winter morning between 7.30 and 10.30 am to the valley station of the Hochzillertal cable car in Kaltebach.

Of course you will be picked up again between 3.30 and 6 pm on request.

Skiing Fun / Snowboard

As the world’s largest skiing valley, the Zillertal is perfect for limitless winter sports. 180 of the most modern lift facilities bring you quickly and comfortably from an altitude of 580 metres to an altitude of 3,350 metres above sea level.

530 kilometres of optimally groomed slopes provide the right challenge for any taste, including demanding, sporty downhill runs and pristine slopes covered in deep powder snow as well as sunny and wide carving slopes for families, beginners and aficionados.

And if that was not enough: snowboard fun parks, permanent racing & speed courses, ski kindergartens as well as numerous cosy ski huts and magnificently situated mountain restaurants with sun terraces will simply delight all guests.

The Zillertal is divided into the following 4 extensive skiing areas:

Ski resort Hochzillertal - Hochfügen

This ski area is only approx. 1.5 km away from our holiday farm and offers pure skiing pleasure with over 100 kilometers of pistes and 47 lifts. In addition to the perfect runs, this ski area also offers culinary delights at the highest level, for example with the Platzlalm, Kristallhütte, Wedelhütte. Even après ski fans will get their money's worth in the Postalm.

The ski resort and the huts were awarded several times with quality seals. This makes Hochzillertal-Hochfügen one of the TOP Winter locations in the entire Alps.

Zillertal Superskipass

The Zillertal Superskipass is valid on all 530 km of optimally groomed slopes and 180 lifts in the 4 extensive skiing ares in Zillertal.
A Superskipass validity period of between 2 and 21 days can be freely selected. Ski passes for up to 1.5 days are only available for the individual ski areas.

With a valid Zillertal Superskipass you can use the following means of transport to and from the cable cars for free:

  • All local ski bus connections
  • The trains and buses of the Zillertal public transport company (exclusive steam train)
  • The Green Line between Mayrhofen and Hintertux
  • The Red Line between Mayrhofen and Eggalm
  • The buses of the line Mayrhofen - Zell - Hainzenberg - Gerlos - Königsleiten with ski / alpine skis or snowboard equipment

For all those who are not quite as perfect on the boards, there are two TOP Ski Schools in Kaltenbach which we recommend: Ski School Optimal and Ski School Hochzillertal. We are happy to assist you in booking your ski course.

The Guest Kindergarten "Zwergerl Club" offers best care for children from 0-7 years, here the kids are cared for on request by the hour, half or full day by kindergarten teachers, which guarantees the parents an informal skiing pleasure. Toboggan Fun

A toboggan ride in the winter paradise Zillertal is the ideal family outing and an experience that will delight young and old - in short, a must on any winter holiday! Going up on foot or by mountain railway, then a bit of hut magic and then a rapid ride down into the valley - so sledding fun. It's good that there are 14 well-prepared toboggan runs in the Zillertal with a total length of approx. 45 kilometers. 30 km of it are also illuminated in the evening, so that nothing stands in the way of an exciting night tobogganing!

Cross-country Skiing

Outdoor sports - cross-country skiing makes your head free and challenges the whole body. Fans of cross-country skiing can get to know the Zillertal on a cross-country ski tour and explore the more than 125 km of trails at various levels of difficulty for skating and classic.
